AFL Wrap: Round 4

Peter Walsh wraps up Round 4 of the AFL.

Another round...another Collingwood win, another Gold Coast loss and yet another draw.

This time it was Essendon and Carlton who ended up sharing the points at the MCG, with the match ending all square after a thrilling contest.

Friday night the Magpies kicked off the round with another commanding performance, this time against Richmond.

Saturday afternoon at York Park the Hawks diced with danger by allowing West Coast to rattle home with 3 late goals, but in the end it wasn't enough with Hawthorn winning by 7 points.

Saturday night Port Adelaide overcame a 34 point deficit to win the Showdown by 32 points against a disappointing Adelaide, while Geelong maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a good win in the wet against Sydney.

Sunday afternoon saw the Suns handed another thrashing, thins time a 90 point loss to the Demons, while in the final match of the round the Dockers accounted for North Melbourne.
