A last second winning goal and a 100 point thrashing were the odds and ends of Round 8 of the SANFL over the weekend. Glenelg and Norwood opened the weekend with a win, with Eagles and Centrals also successful.
Glenelg 25.14.164 defeated Sturt 16.11.107 at Adelaide Oval on Friday night, and Norwood 22.12.144 had an impressive 100 point home ground victory over Port Adelaide 6.8.44.On Saturday, the a last second goal from the Eagles secured a 8.9.57 to 7.10.52 win over West Adelaide at Woodville Oval, and Centrals 16.11.107 defeated Panthers 10.11.71 at Hickinbotham Oval.
North Adelaide had the Round 8 bye.

Friday 27 May, 7:40pm: West Adelaide meet Norwood at Richmond Oval.
Saturday 28 May, 2:10pm: Port Adelaide play Panthers at Alberton Oval.
Saturday 28 May, 2:10pm: Glenelg verses Eagles at Glenelg Oval.
Saturday 28 May, 2:10pm: Central Districts host North Adelaide at Elizabeth Oval.
Sturt has the round 9 bye.
Friday night's match between West Adelaide and Norwood will be broadcast on Grandstand Digital 2 and streamed online at abc.net.au/adelaide from 7:30pm.
