SANFL results: Round 11

With multiple teams turning the tables and finding redemption after upset losses last week, the SANFL is alive and kicking. Round 11 had all the action and excitement we're used to seeing in the local league and the title race is as close as ever.

Central District 14.8-92 is once again on the winner's list after last week's surprise loss, comfortably defeating Port Adelaide 10.7-67 at Playford Alive Oval.

Eagles 10.14-74 defeated Sturt 10.8-68 by a single goal at Commander Centre Oval.

A comfortable win at Hickinbotham Oval saw West Adelaide 14.16-100 defeat North Adelaide 10.7-67.

Yesterday's game between Norwood and Glenelg saw the red legs overcome a nine game losing streak at Brighton Rd. Final scores: Norwood 15.10-100 defeated Glenelg 13.8-86.

The Panthers had the round bye.

Round 12 fixtures.

This weekend:

Saturday 18 June, 2:10pm: Sturt vs West Adelaide at Commander Central Oval.

Saturday 18 June, 2:10pm: Norwood vs Panthers at Coopers Stadium.

Saturday 18 June, 2:10pm: Central Districts vs Glenelg at Palyford Alive Oval.

Port Adelaide, Eagles and North Adelaide all have byes.
